New Orleans Youth Harmony Festival
Inspiring the Next Generation of Singers
The New Orleans Youth Harmony Festival is an annual celebration of vocal harmony, musi education, and the joy of singing together. Founded in 2026, the festival brings young singers, educators, and experienced performers together for a shared experience of learning, collaboration, and performance in the heart of New Orleans.
Created by NOLA Vox, New Orleans’ A Cappella Ensemble, the festival reflects our mission of enriching lives through vocal harmony while investing in the next generation of singers. By connecting students with experienced performers, coaches, and ensembles, the New Orleans Youth Harmony Festival provides an opportunity for young musicians to explore the craft of a cappella singing in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Our First Festival in 2026
In February 2026, we proudly launched the inaugural New Orleans Youth Harmony Festival, bringing together students, educators, and community singers for an unforgettable two day experience of learning and performance.
Students from Holy Name of Jesus School and Louise S. McGehee School joined singers from NOLA Vox and collegiate vocalists from Loyola University’s Crescent Collective for a weekend focused on discovering the excitement of vocal harmony. The event featured collaborative rehearsals, sectionals, and educational sessions designed to introduce young singers to the craft of a cappella and barbershop harmony.
Leading the educational experience was Brouhaha Quartet, an award winning quartet made up of international champion competitors, arrangers, directors, and judges in the barbershop world. Throughout the weekend they worked directly with the students and ensemble singers, teaching the musical techniques that make harmony ring while sharing their passion for lifelong singing.
The festival concluded with a live performance featuring all of the participants, giving students the opportunity to bring everything they had learned to the stage and experience the thrill of performing together in harmony.
The energy and excitement throughout the weekend confirmed what we hoped from the beginning. When young singers are given the chance to learn from experienced performers and sing alongside a larger vocal community, something special happens.
